John B. (Jack) Curcio, Robert (Bob) Grohman
Jack Curcio became the President and CEO of Mack Trucks, a Fortune 100 company.
Jack was born in Hazleton,
in a duplex company house on East Chestnut Street.
In the other half of the duplex
lived a boy named Robert (Bob) Grohman.
Bob grew up to become President and CEO of Levi Strauss, Inc.
In fact, these two next-door neighbors were named to those positions in the same year,
same month (July, 1980). Amazing!
