Conrad Richter
A native of Pine Grove, Conrad Richter is a leading figure in 20th Century American Literature. Much of his fiction depicts the life of a pioneering family. His novel The Town won the 1951 Pulitzer Prize for fiction. Other works include The Fields, The Sea of Grass, The Trees, and The Light in the Forest.
