While compiling our family genealogy I ran across an unfamiliar surname: Wosley; The person mentioned was probably born in 1914 and might have attended and/or graduated from Columbia High School? Is there anyone out there from Columbia? Are you familiar with the surname mentioned? If so, please provide any information you might have; You can contact me directly; My e-mail address has only ONE dotcom Thank you and the best to you and yours,

Tony, We are not Xenophopic; Did you see what happened to Hazleton? Honestly, Did you see what happened to that once safe city? Is it because a huge amount of Lithuanians and Polish came into their city and destroyed it with crime and gangs? Buddy, you need to wake up and face reality; It's ok, trust me;

Be careful as kilbo may become listed as "threatened" or even "endangered" as the burrito may become the food of choice for this town;

Shamokin Overload, I was perusing this board for the first time in years and commented on the push for the CB Board, excuse me for having an opinion; Certainly didn't want to start a fight; Don't know anything about bars and fights, never went to bars except James pizza and don't fight; I could make a smart remark about you knowing about bars but I won't continue the argument; I noticed there was a lot of fighting on the board for quite a long time through the last year or so; Doesn't seem worth checking out the board anymore even once a year; For Cardinal Brennal Grad, appreciate the effort setting the board up; Hope the clientele improves or it goes back to the way it was couple years ago more peaceful and more accepting of what people say; It is nice to know when businesses are opening and closing and as for Bressi Markets closing, is that really really true? Why I thought they were doing great; Ciao;

Hey, Harry how are you? I admit after my mom and dad died I lost contact with most of their friends and relatives, but I think about you from time to time, especially that time when you and your boss Vance?from Georgia came down to see the 1982 Panther Valley vs; Mt; Carmel game, I remember Vance saying that "Wow they look like the Pittsburgh Steelers (PV)because of their size, but the Red Tornadoes kindly put a 50-0 pounding on PV ( Speed Kills ) and they're not called the Red Tornadoes for nothing :-) My sisters are fine, Denise lives with me in the Lansford homestead, Michelle lives in Tamaqua, and Celeste lives over in White Bear; Moved to Hawaii last year, its ok, but not home, people who live here, who are not Millionaires, work there butts off to pay housing costs, so its not what you see on T;V; Stoshu Vinsko's oldest son lives on a neighboring Island, I spent some time with him and his wife, that reminds I have to call him; Last I heard about you, was you had some heart operations;hope your doing well, email me and keep in touch;

Superdelegate" is an informal term commonly used for some of the delegates to the Democratic National Convention, the presidential nominating convention of the United States Democratic Party; Unlike most convention delegates, the superdelegates are not selected based on the party primaries and caucuses in each U;S; state, in which voters choose among candidates for the party's presidential nomination; Instead, most of the superdelegates are seated automatically, based solely on their status as current or former party leaders and elected officials

To: Ashland; I think it is unfair for you to tell Les M; to mind his own business; The post from the "woman" (how did you know it was a woman?) opens the door to opinions because it is posted on a public forum; I agree with Les M;(from Canada, does that matter??- again, public forum, for all coal crackers & guests, regardless of where they are now living);the person with proof should go to the police with their allegation and stop posting it here; Nonsense;

Ryan when was the article in the paper about O'briens and when did it reopen? I thought it was good pizza and tasted a lot like James Pizza; One weekend way back visited friends around Shamokin and some other towns and was going to go to O'Briens but it was closed; Why did they close? No one seemed to know; As far as stealing the recipe when I commented it was sort of like James, a person told me the one of the people who made O'Briens pizza had worked at James and stole that recipe; Anyway whoever stole what sorry for everyone's misfortune;

St;Joes: You've posted regarding this issue a number of times; I know you realize that no one on this board can / should do anything about your allegations, but what I don't fully understand is, if you are so sure, then why not do something about it yourself? If you have proof, then the police are the people to contact; If you don't, then, well;give it a rest;

Anybody in the Coal Region who has heard of or ate at the old O'briens Pizza (when the pizza was actually good) should know that it is under new ownership, and for anybody who read the article in the Shamokin News Item about O'briens, you should know that MOST of the article was a HUGH LIE and i know this because my parents were the former owners, Gary Thomas and Annie "O'brien" Thomas, one of the biggest lies that was posted in the news paper is where the name originated, and it actually came from my Mother and my Mothers parents not the "late John O'brien" who lent Greg Klebon the money to open the restaurant several years ago as stated in the News Item and that was just one of several lies i'm not worried about the pizza recipe that was stolen from my father or the fact that somebody can be as money hungry as klebon or the fact that what was once a very calm and relaxed family operated place where you could come and have great pizza and a beer with your family is now ruined what gets me the most is the disgrace the new owners are bringing to my family's name by keeping the restaurant's original name if you people were even half decent you would have had the respect to change the name not to mention the recipe
