Mel Welles
Mel Welles Mel Welles has had a terrific career as an actor and voice-over specialist in movies, television, and theater. Perhaps his most famous role is that of Gravis Mushnik in the original "Little Shop of Horrors" film by Roger Corman. Other film credits include "Wolfen", "The Brothers Karamazov", and "Attack of the Crab Monsters". Recently, Mr. Welles has had great success touring the country doing seminars on "The Voice Actor". He has lived and worked in 28 countries and is fluent in five languages.

Mel Welles (born Ira Meltcher) hails from Walnut Street in Mt. Carmel. He graduated from Mt. Carmel High School in 1940 and currently lives in California.
